It is cool to
see how the internet and new technologies are still changing things. Now if you
want to make a show or movie you can just make it and get it out on the net and
still make a living out of it.
I recently stumbled upon some Podcasts and Webcomics I
thought everyone might enjoy. OK, not really news, but I thought I would just share some
enjoyable links to some stuff I have recently discovered. Every time I tell
someone about them, they seem to know, so maybe I'm just a virgin noob discovering
treasure way late in the game, but thought you guys might enjoy. Hope you enjoy
them as much as I have.
These first 2 I discovered in podcast form on iTunes, and can still be
found in that form by just searching for the show names. They can also be found
at the listed websites.

 A new tv channel is being launched for video game players. It's called G4, and is an all-video-game TV network. Since the video game industry is the fastest growing entertainment industry pulling in more than $9 billion in 2001, it only makes sense.
There will be only limited availability at launch, but like any other special interest channel, if enough people contact their cable/satelite providers the channel will be added. The G4tv.com website provides an online form to do just that.
I would assume at first the channel won't be too exciting, but if they put their heads together, they could do some really cool an original stuff.

As always, Wavemaker is a wonderful host. Everything went well, despite the two or three power incidents, but no one was hurt and more importantly, NO machines were damaged. I think we would've had to call 911 or something...

Note: Since these were related I didn't want to post two seperate stories, so I tried to combine them a bit so we only ended up with one thread. Let me know if I should never try this again.
