If nothing else, we could just make it a small one if some people couldn't make it. Hopefully most of you read this site more than I do (FORESHAME... I know...sorry). But let me know. If anyone wants to send an email or something, my address is skydog10999@hotmail.com"

Ready to find out how far down the rabbit hole goes?!
"Unfortunately, no one can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself”
-- Morpheus
WELL, IT'S ABOUT TIME WE GET A CHANCE TO 'SEE IT FOR OURSELVES'!
So I'm fliping through the latest issue of Playboy, and come to 'reviews [ games ] and low and behold 'game of the month' is [ ENTER THE MATRIX ].
I was like whoa, what? Really? Then I thought, man I was surprised a game never came out.
But apparently it was because they wanted to do it right. As opposed to Star Wars and it's games that always deliver something for the hype, but are
notorious for falling short of anything that they should have been. So what has this been one of the closest kept secrets in the world, and why didn't I know about it?
I suppose most of you have know about it and been following it for a while, so
my question is, why the hell didn't you tell the rest of us? Well, since I know how lazy all of you are, I'm going to give you all the dealio in case you don't know it yet. Why? because I'm board as hell, feel like doing it and damn it this looks cool! OK, so let's start with the recreation of the Playboy
snippet article...shhh don't tell them I Bogarted it:

| Electronic Arts closes Westwood Studios |
|
DaMiZ writes ""As part of its quarterly earnings report, Electronic Arts announced that it will be consolidating its Los Angeles, Irvine and Las Vegas studios.
While the company plans to form a new studio in Los Angeles soon, the the closure in Las Vegas means that Westwood Studios, responsible for the COMMAND AND CONQUER series and the recent EARTH AND BEYOND, is no more. This also means significant layoffs at the Las Vegas studio (which employs over 100 people), although some are eligible for transfer to the new LA studio or EA's main headquarters in Redwood Shores. Westwood's only confirmed member going to the Los Angeles studio right now is Louis Castle, the founder of the studio. The final day for Westwood employees will be this Friday.
Despite the closure of Westwood, EA has announced it will continue to support the online RPG EARTH AND BEYOND and also that we haven't seen the last of the COMMAND AND CONQUER series.
The new Los Angeles studio will open later this summer and will be home to 200 developers. "
Damn EA is turning into Micro$oft and taking everything over, I mean seriously it seems every game i start up i hear the EA kid saying "Challenge everything!" or the old whirling logo for EA. I hate to loose westwood since I love the Command and Conquer seires so much (AND I happen to play Earth and Beyond), but hey the latest tittles have been a little slacking it seems so maybee its for the best.

| Battlefield 1942: The Road to Rome Gone gold! |
|
DaMiZ writes "Ship Date Set For Battlefield 1942: The Road to Rome - Feb. 4
EA is pleased to announce that the Battlefield 1942: The Road to Rome expansion pack has GONE GOLD and will begin to ship on Tuesday, February 4 in North America. The multiplayer focused expansion pack will give players more of what they have grown accustomed to with the original Battlefield 1942, including more maps, more vehicles, and more fighting forces.
The Road to Rome will focus exclusively on the key, yet largely underpublicized Italian and Sicilian campaigns of WWII. Players can choose to fight on six new maps including Operation Husky (Sicily), Operation Baytown and the battles for Anzio, Salerno, Santo Croce and Monte Cassino. Each map comes with highly detailed environments such as Italian houses, Mediterranean trees and even the ruined Monte Cassino Monastery.
Controllable vehicles are the heart of the Battlefield 1942 experience and The Road to Rome will feature eight new vehicles in addition to the more than 30 in the original title. These include the German BF-110 and British Mosquito twin-engined fighter-bombers. Also debuting are Italian and new British and German tanks and anti-tank guns. The original Battlefield 1942 PC game will be required to play The Road to Rome.
Whooo! it should be great and I can't wait to play it, specially at a Badlan when ever we have another one ;)
